Thursday, August 13, 2009

Old Hands derived its name from its team members who were olden great players, mostly in their mid-thirties. They were beaten 2 goals to nil by Unicons in Week-Three clash of the Serrekunda West Nawettan.

Unicorns' number 3, Bakary Kuyateh pulled a fast one on Old Hands when he scored at the 5th minute.

Before the spectators were awakened from their daze, Lamin Joof, number 7 of the same team swiftly registered the 2nd goal at the 9th minute.

Old Hands did their best at hitting the ball into net, but that was a hard tussle.

The rest of the 90 minutes game ended in a hard battle between both teams and gradually 2 to nil in favour of Unicons.

As part of Week-Three matches, Dippa Kunda United will meet MJ Finance on Saturday at three in the afternoon.

Gampop/ FIFA with Jarington on the same day at 5 in the evening.

Ajax with Pipe Line the following day, at three and Kanifing Utd with Gamstar later on the same day
