Rash and
negligence case involving one Sarjo Sillah could not proceed recently before
Magistrate Saikou Fatty of the Bundung Magistrate Court.
The case was adjourned as the court was told the case filed was sent to the Attorney General Chambers for legal advice.
When the case was called, the prosecuting police, 3466 Sawaneh, applied for an adjournment on the grounds that the case filed was sent to the police headquarters in Banjul, who sent it to the Attorney General Chambers for legal advice.
Asked by the court whether he had any objection to the application made by the prosecutor, the accused told the court that he had no objection to the application made by the prosecutor.
The case was then adjourned till 5 May 2014.
