The prosecutor recently closed his case in the ongoing case involving a father and his family at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.

The accused persons, Kissima Kanteh and his family, were charged with the offences of store breaking and stealing, an allegation they had since denied.

When the case was called, the prosecuting officer, Colley, told the court that he intended not to call any more witnesses, and that was the case for the prosecution.

When the defendant was asked to enter into his defence, Kissima Kanteh asked the court to grant him an adjournment to prepare himself.

His application was granted, and hearing was set to continue on 24 October 2012.
