Fatoumatta Kamaso, a grade 6 pupil of Tallinding Lower Basic School, is seeking help to undergo medical treatment in India.

According to Fatoumatta’s brother, Musa Kamaso, Fatoumatta’s medical bills are being paid by the Office of The President while her accommodation is sponsored by the Gambia Ports Authority.

However, he said, she lacks funds to buy an air ticket to travel to India to undergo an urgent medical treatment recommended.

“As you can see, she was issued an Indian visa but this would expire on December 6th 2011,” brother Musa explained.

The Kamaso family is appealing to the government, the private sector, NGOs, donors, philanthropists, companies and individuals to come to their daughter’s aid to purchase her air ticket.
