The General Manager of One Plus One Enterprise (Home Centre) Youssef A. Ezzeddine, alias Rambo yesterday Monday 15th March 2010 donated a cash prize of D10, 000, three trophies and five footballs to the National Inter-Departmental Sports Association (NISA), at a colourful ceremony held at One Plus One Enterprise (Home Centre) main building at Badala Part Highway (Kotu).

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Ezzeddine said the donation is the fourth of its kind to NISA.

He said "whenever I donate to NISA I feel glad for supporting my Gambian brothers in the development of sports in the country."

He pointed out that one of the three trophies donated is for the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

Saihou Jarju, the secretary-General of NISA expressed delight at the gesture and thanked the Lebanese Community in The Gambia for their support towards the development of sports in the country, adding that it is a great honour to receive the donation which would go a long way in the development of sports in the country.

According to Mr. Jarju "it does not matter where you come from or what colour you are, what matters is what you do for the development of the country."

Lamin Manneh, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Gambia Immigration Department, who deputised for the President of NISA, thanked the donors, on behalf of Buba Sagnia adding that it will go a long way towards widening the relationship between NISA, Youssef A. Ezzeddine and Akram Sour of No 1 Sport Shop, who recently made a similar donation to NISA.

Pa Modou Faal, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) chaired the presentation ceremony.
