Miami FC Share Points With Ghetto FC In Banjul

Miami FC on Tuesday 28th July, 2009, shared points with Ghetto FC in the 2009 Sports House sponsored Banjul Nawettan League Championship at the Gambia Senior Secondary School football grounds.

The well-contested game that showed wonderful football from both sides during the first opening minutes of play had created dead clear chances in each other's goal mouth, but failed to materialise on their limited chances, thus ending 0-0 in the first half.

In the second half, Miami FC, who are keen for a victory came all out for a goal and put pressure on defence, while Ghetto FC were seating at the back and relied on counter attacks. Miami FC opened the tally through Bakary Manneh in the 58th minute from sensational close range shoot.

Ghetto FC were defending and relied on counter attacks to launched a series of dangerous assaults in Miami FC's goal mouth. Their efforts paid dividend in the 73rd minute of play when star striker Lamin Barrow after slashing through Miami FC defence line to levelled the tally 1-1.
