Man granted D5, 000 bail bond

Magistrate Fatou Lili Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently granted a court bail to one Ebrima Jallow in the sum of D5, 000.

Mr. Jallow, who pleaded not guilty, was arraigned on a charge of theft.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused Ebrima Jallow on 5th March 2010, at Serrekunda Market stole one carton of 10kg garlic, valued at D500 and two bags of onions, valued at D750, being the property of one Ousman Jallow.

The case was subsequently adjourned to 16th March 2010.
