Sarr was elected at the association’s elective congress held at the Governor’s office in Brikama, Kombo Central district on Sunday.
The head coach of Gamtel, Tapha Manneh, was elected as the first vice-president, while the former head coach of the Gambia U-17 Lamin Sambou alias L.S. was elected as the second vice-president.
Sang Mendy was elected as the Secretary General, Samuel Mendy was elected as the Assistant Secretary General, and Brikama United head coach Sulayman Kuyateh was elected as the Public Relations Officer.
The elective congress was coordinated by West Coast Region Football Association, WCRFA, and football stakeholders in the region.
