A man called Faraba Konteh was recently arraigned before Principal
Magistrate Omar Cham of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault
causing actual bodily harm.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused person Faraba Konteh, on 9 October 2014 in Nyofeleh Gibboro village in Kombo South district of the West Coast Region, assaulted one Ebrima Jallow by stabbing him with a knife on his neck, shoulder and right hand, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D25,000 with two Gambian sureties.
The case was adjourned to 10 November 2014, for hearing.
