GFA 1st Division Reaches Week Twenty Tomorrow

The 2008-09 Gambia Football Association first division league will reach its week twenty tomorrow Saturday 16 May, 2009 as part of week twenty fixtures, Samger will clash with Real de Banjul at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai.

Samger are 2nd position on the standing with 30 points from eighteen games with game in hand while Real are currently 5th on the table with 24 points from nineteen games.

Armed Forces will lock horns with Hawks at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, Armed Forces are still leading the table with 37 points from eighteen games with a game in hand and are hoping to bounce back from 2-1 defeat in the hands of the academy boys Samger in their week nineteen encounter on Wednesday at the Brikama Mini Stadium, Hawks are now 9th on the table with 22 points from nineteen games.

On Sunday 17th May Seaview FC will meet Africell at the Brikama Mini Stadium, Seaview FC are now 6th position on the table with 23 points from nineteen games and are hoping to rejuvenate their winning after loosing three games in a row while Africell are struggling at the relegation zone with 19 points from nineteen games.

The telecommunication boys Gamtel will face Tallinding United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai, Gamtel are  4th position on the table with 24 points from nineteen games, Tallinding United are still lies at bottom of the table with 17 points from nineteen games and hoping to maintain their winning form in order move away from relegation zone.

Bakau United will battle it out with Wallidan at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, Bakau are 3rd position on the table with 27 points from nineteen games, the defending champions Wallidan are 7th position on the table with 23 points from eighteen games with a game in hand and are hoping to bounce back following their 3-1 defeat in the hands of Bakau giant Steve Biko last week.

Steve Biko will entertain Brikama United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Steve Biko are 8th position on the table with 23 points from eighteen games with a game in hand while Brikama United are drop to 10th position with 19 points from nineteen games.
