Gambian Diplomat in Abuja Meets President Yar'Adua

On Thursday 4th November 2008 , Her Excellency Ms. Angella B. Colley presented her letters of Credence as The Gambia's High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and also the letters of recall of her predecessor His Excellency Mr. Momodou Kebba Jallow of blessed memory.

In presenting her credentials at State house, her Excellency Ms. Angela B. Colley thanked and expressed her gratitude to His Excellency Alhagi Umaru Musa Yar'Adua for receiving her in audience and accepting her letters of credence.

According to a press release from The Gambia High Commission in Nigeria , Her Excellency Ms. Colley conveyed a message of goodwill from His Excellency Professor Alhagi Yahya Jammeh and the people of the Republic of The Gambia to His Excellency Alhagi Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

In ensuing discussions, The Gambia High Commissioner, Her Excellency Ms. Colley exchanged views with His Excellency Alhagi Umaru Musa Yar'Adua on bilateral and multilateral issues and they also acknowledged the excellent bonds of friendship and co-operation that exist between Nigeria and the Republic of The Gambia .

Her Excellency Ms. Angela B. Colley was accompanied to State House by Mr. Abdoulie Sanno, First Secretary, Mr. Lamin Jawneh, finance attaché and all of The Gambia High Commission and Reverend Fr. Peter Steven Lopez, a relative.
