The Chief Instructor of the Gambia Martial Arts and Self Defense Academy, Master Mamoud Njie, along side other colleagues will conduct a second belt promotional examination for students of the academy on Vovinam Viet Vo Dao.
The Academy and Team Ben'Noor Viet VO Dao Club exams will take place on Sunday 15th November 2009, at the Latri Kunda Junior Secondary School Hall.
The purpose of these belts promotion, according to Yerrow Njie, the Co-ordinator of the Academy are to grade and assess students that have been intensively pursuing months of technical trainings.
"These regulations also provide the procedures of carrying out all levels of tests in accordance with the Intercontinental Viet Vo Dao Federation, which is aimed at spreading the rationalised VIET VO DAO techniques and standardising its practice in The Gambia," he stated.
The practical promotional techniques test shall look into Quyen (Forms), special techniques and self-defense.
Members of the Academy will also stage demonstrations like Taekwondo, Karate and Viet VO Dao and Masters will as well showcase their well nurtured Martial Arts skills to entertain Sunday's gathering.
