Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay's Perpetual Tournament Enters Week Three

The 2009 Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay's Perpetual football tournament currently underway in Gunjur, has reached its week three. The tournament is organised and co-ordinate by Hajojara Sports Committee and back up by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay.

Friday 10th April 2009 Aslem FC drew 1-1 with Oxford FC in the intermediate category. On Saturday 11 April , Freetown FC defeated Heart Cleaners FC 2-1 in the junior category. On Sunday 12 April Real Manchester United drew 1-1 with Young Kulukochi FC in junior category while Kayoung Karlon FC beat Sibindinto FC 1-0 in intermediate championship. The Monday matches were called off due to a friendly between the two veteran teams, Juventus FC and Real De Gunjur in which Real de Gunjur won Juventus FC 3-1 on post match penalty shoot out after the normal time of play ended 2-2.
