The
Gambia National Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy
through APL Japan, will on Wednesday 22 March 2017 inaugurate the project for
the improvement of sports facilities for youth development.
The
contract of this project was signed between the embassy of Japan in Senegal and
the Gambia National Olympic Committee in order to support and improve
athletics, basket, handball and volleyball.
The
inauguration ceremony will take place at the Independence Stadium Basketball
Court in Bakau at 12pm.
