Drug suspect granted D300,000 bail bond

The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently granted a bail bond of D300,000 to one Lamin Ceesay, who was arraigned and charged with being in possession of prohibited drug.

According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused, Lamin Ceesay, on 7 July 2011, at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, had in his possession 99 grams and 380 mg of cannabis, a prohibited drug.

The case was adjourned till 22 May 2012.
