Driver in court for obstruction

A driver was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for causing obstruction on the highway.

Suwaibou Nyassi denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with two Gambian sureties.

The charge sheet read that the defendant, Suwaibou Nyassi, on 21 December 2011, at Farato, in the Kombo North District of West Coast Region, drove a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 1487G and parked in a manner that obstructed other road users.
