The head coach of the Gambia National team, Raoul Savoy, and two other foreign-based players will brief the media ahead of the country’s crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers away to South Africa on 13 June 2015, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, after the training session on Thursday.

Coach Savoy and two other foreign-based players would address the press about the team’s technical preparations and any other related items ahead of their eventual travel to South Africa via Uganda for an international friendly match set for 9 June 2015 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala.

The press briefing will give journalists the opportunity to ask coach Raoul Savoy the state of preparedness of the Scorpions against South Africa in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers set for 13 June 2015 in Johannesburg, and all media houses are urged to assign one personnel for coverage of the press conference.

The Gambia will host Cameroon in their group tie in September 2015, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau before playing away to fellow West African side Mauritania in March 2016.
