The trial of former magistrate Saikou Fatty of the Bundung Magistrates’
Court Thursday failed to proceed before Principal Magistrate Abeke of the
Bundung Magistrates’ Court, due to the absence of the accused person in court.
When the case was called, Lawyer E.Singateh said he was apologizing for the absence of the accused, adding that the accused has never been absent from court sittings.
He asked the court to grant them an adjournment.
State prosecutors M. Faye and A. Jorbateh led by M. Jobe did not oppose the application.
The case was adjourned to 29 December 2014, for continuation.
