BYSA Championship Cup Final Saturday

Chimo United FC will battle it out with Real Sira's Suppliers in the 2009 BYSA champions cup this Saturday 24 January 2009 at Brikama Mini Stadium. The championship has been organised by the Brikama Youth and Sports Association to promote the spirit of competitiveness.

Chimo United made it to the final by beating Berewuleng FC 4-3 in a post match penalty shoot-out after normal time ended in stalemate. They earned their place following a watering clash last Saturday. Their opponents Real Sira's Supplier FC sailed to the final by edging out Real Chelsea FC 4-2 on penalties after the game ended goalless.

Speaking to Pointsports, the president BYSA, Lamin King Colley, said that BYSA would continue to develop and promote sports in Brikama and its environs.

He revealed that the final game will be witnessed by the Governor of Western Region, Mr. Lamin Sanneh, and other significant dignitaries.

He advised the fans of the finalists to maintain discipline during the game and also come in large numbers and cheer on their teams.
