The Inter-Ward football competition organised by the Brufut Marathon Association, in collaboration with Brufut Youth and Sports Development Committee, will commence on Sunday at the Brufut School.
The Brufut Santo-su team A will take on Nyfulllen in Sunday’s opening expected to be graced by Minister of Youth and Sports Alieu K. Jammeh.
As part of the tournament, Brufut, which is divided into ten wards, will give the bigger wards two teams named team A & B.
The bigger wards that will be having two teams each are Sateba, Sanchaba and Santo-su Team.
The others that will produce single teams are Ghana Town, Nyfullen, New Town and Wullingkama.
The aim and objective of the tournament is to make better selection of a Brufut Town Team and bring unity among the youths of Brufut.
The town team to be selected will be supported by the community and well-wishers.
The competition is aimed at selecting players from only Brufut to further develop their skills.
