Kombo South District football fray enters week two

The 2015 Kombo South district biggest football fiesta will reach its second week this weekend with thrilling and exciting encounters.

As part of week-two games, today 29 May 2015, Berending will host Kartong in group C at the Berending football field.

Berending are with zero point and their weekend encounter against Kartong will be their first outing in the competition. They will strive for a win to clinch the vital three points in order to secure their first win in the competition.

Kartong are with a single point in one game following their 1-all draw with reigning champions Sifoe at the Kartong football field. They will be putting up strong challenge for a victory against Berending to secure their first victory in the competition.

Reigning champions Sifoe will welcome debutant Pacholing in the other group C game at the Sifoe football field.

Sifoe are with a single point in one outing after their 1-all draw with Kartong at the Kartong football field.

They are up for a must-win against debutants Pacholing to grip the maximum points in order to fancy their hopes of retaining their Kombo South district football festivity title for the fourth time consecutively.

On Saturday 29 May 2015, Jambanjelly will battle it out with Tujereng in group C at the Jambanjelly football field. Jambanjelly and Tujereng are with three points each in one game after beating Gunjur Kunkujang and Banyaka 1-0 respectively in their opening group games.

Banyaka will rub shoulders with Gunjur Kunkujang in the other group C tie at the Banyaka football field.

Banyaka and Gunjur Kunkujang are with zero point each in one outing after losing to Tujereng and Jambanjelly 1-0 respectively in their opening games.

Both sides will be aiming for a win against each other to claim their first point in the competition.

On Sunday 31 May 2015, Mamuda will play against Nyofelleh in group A tie at the Jambanjelly football field.

Mamuda and Nyofelleh are with a single point in one game following their 1-all draw with Batokunku and Tanji in their opening group games.

Elsewhere, on the same day Tanji will meet Batokunku at the Tanji football field.

Tanji and Batokunku are also with one point each in one outing and be will looking for a victory against each other to snatch the vital three points.
