Once on steam to be marketed in The Gambia and abroad, the debut album is expected to touch the hearts and minds of people far and wide.

In a chat with Point Entertainment at the weekend, members of the group, who in 2008 embarked on a countrywide tour to promote their music, said they are working very hard to get to the final stage of releasing the long-awaited album to the market.

Furthermore the group plans to also embark on another countrywide tour to promote the coming album.

According to Acoustic crew, their first single entitled ‘Gambian People’, which is presently on air at various radio stations across the country, is food for the ear and the mind as it gives satisfaction to the soul while taking the human spirit to cloud nine.

They informed Entertainment that since the formation of the group in 2008 they have embarked on many tours to promote their music, as well as performed at various hotels and VIP events across the country including President Jammeh’s programmes.

The Gambian talented rappers have also been to Senegal, Burkina Faso and Ghana, where they did wonders via their riveting and action-packed music.

The group, which comprises Ismaila Samba, Alhagie Jahe Tunkara and Alhagie Gum Manneh, also played afro-manding music, which is one of Africa’s traditional melodies.
