Banjul Nayconf Committee get Another Boast

As the nation prepares for the bi-annual national youth gathering, the National Youth Conference and Festival, the Banjul Nayconf committee continues to receive a series of donations from individuals and institutions as contribution for the committees' successful participation of the event.

The latest donations include D10,000 from M.J. Financial Services, Njoofen C/OMusa JoofD10,000, Shyben A. madi and Sons D7,000, George Banna and CO 3bags of rice, CDS Tamba D5,000 plus food stuffs, Sulayman Hydara D2,000, M.S.T.E C/O Modou Sowe D2,500, Jet distribution and Market company donated food items valued at D3,950 and ALH Jawara, Musa Sowe and Marong also donated utensils.

Speaking to Pointsports shortly after receiving the items, ALH Bai Ceesay, Chairperson of the Nayconf local organising committee in Banjul, commended all those who contributed towards the development of the youths of Banjul and for making their participation to the event a success.

The National event, which will be hosted in Farafenni, will commence from December the 16thto the 24th2008.
