The 2008 Bakau Nawettan League Championship will reach its
climax this Saturday 29November 2008 at the Independence
Ron Mango F.C will clash with Linguere F.C in a final and it is expected to be a cracker.
Speaking to Pointsports, the second vice-president of the
Bakau Zonal Sports Committee, Bakary B. Darboe, said the final match is
expected to be graced by the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports Mr Sheriff
Gomez, GFA officials and other dignitaries. The match will kick off at
He stated that the knockout final is slated for Saturday the 6th of December 2008 between Seaview FC and Ron Mango F.C and he called on the general public to come in their to watch the brilliant football being played by young players in Bakau.
Meanwhile, in another development, Rangers F.C, the knockout
winners, will lock horns with Culture F.C in the 2008 Serrekunda East Nawettan
league final on
Last weekend's match produced a thrilling encounter, after Rangers, leading up to the last minutes of the game, succumbed to an equaliser scored by Culture which levelled the score at 2-2.
