Assailant Remanded

Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates' Court last Tuesday remanded in custody one Musa Jabarteh for assault causing actual bodily harm.

According to the particulars of the alleged offence, on 14th June 2009, at Wellingara village, the accused Musa Jobarteh wilfully and unlawfully assaulted one Ebrima Sonko by stabbing him with a broken bottle all over his body and thereby causing him actual bodily harm. He pleaded not guilty.

The case was adjourned to 1st July 2009.
