Action Resumes in GFA 2nd Division

Lamin FC will host leaders Serrekunda East today Thursday 7th May 2009 , as part of week eleven of the GFA second division league at the Brikama Mini Stadium.

Lamin FC are currently 8th in the table with 10 points from nine matches with a game in hand. They are also hoping to bounce back from their poor performance in the first round.

Serrekunda East are currently on top of the table with 22 points from ten games and hope to  maintain their winning form in order to extend the gap.

Kaira Silo will take on Jambanjelly in the other week eleven encounter at the Manjai Field all in today matches.

Kaira Silo are second from bottom with 7 points from ten games and going for a win in order move away from the relegation zone. Jambanjelly at the bottom of the table in ten games are also expected to bounce back from their poor performance in the first round.

On Friday 8th May, Nema United will lock horns with Serrekunda United at the Brikama Mini Stadium.

Nema United are 4th on the table with 15 points from nine games with a game in hand. Mid table occupants, Serrekunda United, are 7th with 11 points from ten games. They have suffered heavy defeat in the hands of the GPA who thrashed them 4-0 in Week Ten.

Young Africans will face Ham Ham who are 7th position in the standing.   The Young Africans are 5th on the table with 14 points from nine games with a game in hand. 

Elsewhere, GPA will clash with Interior in the other week eleven encounter at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

GPA are currently 2nd on the table with 19 points from ten games. Interior are 3rd with 19 points from nine games with a game in hand.
