33 students graduate at Kotukala Nursery School

At least 33 students on Friday 9th July 2010 graduated at Kotukala Nursery School in the Western Region.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the school's premises, the Proprietor and the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Ismael Cham said this year marks the third graduation ceremony of the school.

Noting that last year they graduated 30 students, as compared to this year, he said it is a step in the development of the school.

He thanked the graduates for a job well-done throughout the academic year, while challenging parents and guardians to send their kids to the school.

He assured the gathering that plans are underway for the inception of primary classes in the school, which he added, has already been approved by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Banjul Jatta, the Board Chairman of the school expressed delight at the success story registered by the school and commended the parents and guardians for their immense contribution to the interest of their children's education. He urged them to continue their support, describing it as paramount. He also commended the teachers for the tremendous achievements towards educating the children.

The Guest Speaker at the occasion, Oustass Omar Bojang also expressed similar sentiments. He appealed to parents to inculcate discipline into their children for a better future.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates and prizes were awarded to the graduates.
