Man in Court for Criminal Trespass

One Tumani Saidykhan of Faji Kunda was on 16 September 2008 arraigned before Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara of the Bundung Magistrates' Court on a two-count charge of criminal trespass and disobedience of law.

According to the offence on count one, on 4th June 2008 at Faji kunda , the accused entered the compound of one Musa Joof  with intent to intimidate and annoy him.

On count two, the offence revealed that on the same day, place and time the accused disobedience of the law.

He denied both charges.

The case was adjourned to a later date.

In a related development, the trial of one Dodou Manneh resumed at the Bundung Magistrates'Court before Magistrate B.O Jobe who is standing trial on a charge of stealing.

Mr Manneh was alleged to have 2006 at the Fajara Hotel stolen a suitcase containing 133kg of gold dust valued at  $1,596,000 being the property of Afin Gold Gambia Limited. He denied the charge.

Hearing continues.
