The annual Marathon run, organised by the Njawara Organizing
Committee and geared towards the development of youth education in Njawara, is
slated for July 26th2008.
Preparations
for this event are in high gear and, according to Pateh Jaw a member of the
organising committee, this year's theme is "Run for School Library". He said," the aim of the

Pateh pointed out that the 3km race for children is free. He called on the private- sector and individuals to come and assist them financially or in kind for a successful staging of the marathon in order to help educatethe young people and future leaders of the nation.
