The Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan, His Excellency Richard Shih, recently presented a letter of appreciation from his president to President Jammeh at the State House.
Speaking to GRTS shortly after delivering the letter, ambassador Shih said that the letter, which he delivered, was signed by his president Ma Ying-jeou to express his appreciation for The Gambia's support to Taiwan from the former government to his term. "Its my honour under the instruction of my government to present a letter signed by President Ma Ying-jeou to His excellency President Jammeh for your country's steadfastness and support to our country," he said.
