38 Illegal Immigrants Returned From Spain

At least 38 of the 103 illegal immigrants who have been sent to and from Spain were last Friday finally repatriated to The Gambia, this paper can reveal.

Sources added that the rest are now allowed to live in Spain.

It could be recalled as many as 103 people considered to be illegal immigrants were recently repatriated from Spain, but were sent back as the Gambian authorities refused to issue clearance for them to disembark from the plane.

The plane reportedly spent several hours at the BanjulInternationalAirport, but returned with the deportees to Spain.

Most of these people, mainly youths, had embarked on risky, mostly sea, voyages to reach Europe. Despite the constant loss of lives, many of them still life and limb to enter Europe.
