Comium GSM company has introduced a new campaign known as one network one tariff. This was revealed to The Point yesterday, by the Comium's Communication Officer Ms. Ya Saine Gaye during a presentation of prizes to over hundred lucky winners of Comium Ramadan campaign.

According to her, the one network one tariff campaign is a service with which they charge the same tariff on calls from a Comium network to a different network just as they charge on calls between Comium lines.

This latest service she added, is introduced simply to enable people use only one mobile phone. "|We have seen many people carrying two to three mobiles but with this service you need not to do that. The only thing you need to do is to have one mobile phone with a Comium line, make calls to any other network different from Comium and pay the same as when you call between Comium lines. Even though our competitors are charging at different charges  we want to maintain one simple prize" she said.

She noted that they realised that cross network tariffs are expensive and decided to make it cheap by introducing the one network service.

According to her, the service is the first of its kind in the country and only introduced by Comium. "This will definitely allow people to stick to only one mobile phone". Ms. Gaye also used the forum to unveiled another new campaign been introduced by the Comium known as WOW campaign. This campaign, she said, means with every new Comium sim purchased goes with free gifts such as a brand new school bag, T-shirt, cap or an umbrella.

Commenting on the presentation, Comium's spokeswoman thanked the Gambian community for making Comium as their first choice and for participating in their Ramadan campaigns. She also thanked the people for making their two organised Iftars (fast breaking) one at West Field and other at Bambo successful. She said that even though Ramadan has come and gone they at Comium always stick to their promises thus the need for the presentation.

Over a hundred winners yesterday went home with MP3 players, rice and sugar courtesy of Comium.

Zacharia Janneh from CRR, Bo Tabbal of Banjul and Sulayman Darboe of Faji Kunda were among those who received a bicycle, a bag of rice and an MP3 respectively. All the winners thanked Comium for the gesture while describing their services as second to non-in the country.

The grand presentation ceremony held at Comium's head office along

Kairaba Avenue
was the final presentation for the Ramadan campaign.
