Hawks move three points clear in 2nd Division

Hawks have moved three points clear at the top of the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League standings after thumping Elite United 2-0 in their week-24 match played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori on Tuesday.

The Red Devils were leading the country’s Second Tier on goal difference prior to their match with Elite United, who sat 6th place on the League table.

Hawks fought hard to beat Elite United to extend their lead in the Second Division League.

The Red Devils clasped the vital three points, thanks to goals from Alagie Wally alias Gray and Abdoulie Jobe during the match.

Hawks still sit top-spot on the country’s Second Tier table with 45 points after 24 league matches.

Elite United occupy 6th place on the Second Division League table with 35 points in 24 league outings.
