W.R.U.B.I.S Athletics Heats Saturday

The annual event will attract over 25 schools from across Western Region a place for the forthcoming Gambia Inter Schools Athletics Championship competition organize by the Gambia Secondary School Sports Association later this year.

The event will also allow athletes to showcase their skills and talents and prepare well for the forthcoming inter schools athletics championship. The event is also a trial for athletes ahead of the Inter Schools Athletics Championship

Meanwhile, the heats for senior secondary schools are slated for next Saturday 21st February 2009 at the Kinder Dorf Bottrop Football Field.

It will be recalled that Kinder DorfBottrop Senior Secondary were the champions of last year's Western Region athletics heats in the senior secondary schools category, while Gunjur Upper Basic School have were crowned champions of last year's athletics championship in the Upper Basic Schools category.
