Westfield Jokor an Entertainment Ground

Friday, December 05, 2008

As the tourist season enters its low tide more and more nightclubs in the country are introducing new packages in a bid to lure local customers for patronage.

Westfield Jokor, which never fails in giving all the good things of life particularly in terms of music entertainment to their customers, is currently showing no sign of let-up in providing entertainment in a bigger, better package to their teeming customers.

In a brief chat with The Point Entertainment boss, Njie Baldeh, the manager of Westfield Jokor, Mr Omar Bah, said they are fully prepared for the coming Tobaski. He noted that a lot of programmes are coming ahead such as, "Sierra Leonian artists who will be staged on Saturday and on Sunday we have Pap Joof". Mr. Bah went on to explain that DJ's are also fully prepared to perform a commercial dance on Tobaski day.

Westfield Jokor is the most famous nightclub in terms of its location compared to other nightclubs in the country and its capacity is 1,200. Mr Bah revealed that as the tourist season enters, they have started receiving a number of tourists and hopefully by mid December, more tourists are expected to visit the place. Westfield Jokor is poised to match the exceptional location of the place; its new look and breathtaking dishes with eye opening Gambian musical performances. It's high time that Gambian musicians were put under the spotlight.
