West Coast Regional 3rd Division heats up

Busumbala on Saturday defeated newly-promoted side Dertusa 2-0 in the week three fixtures played at the Busumbala football field to extend their lead in the 2014-2015 West Coast Regional third division league.

The Kombo North outfit has won their three opening games, and are two points ahead of second placed Gunjur United, who drew goalless with visiting Nema United at the Gunjur Nyamina football field on Sunday.

Brufut United beat Brikama 1-0 at the Brufut football field, Foni Berefet 2-0 at the Bulock football field.

Busumbala are still leading the race with 9 points in three games after winning their three opening games; Gunjur United are second with 7 points in three games, and Brufut United are third with 6 points in two games, with a game in hand against Dertusa.

Foni Brefet have 4 points in two games, Nema United have 2 points in three games, while Brikama and Dertusa are struggling with zero points each.
