Tuesday, May 26, 2009

A sensational 70th minute strike from substitute Alagie Fatty was enough for West Coast to emerge victorious against Kids With Talent Radio Station in all media friendly football encounter played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai on Sunday.

Both teams went into this crucial encounter with high hopes and played a fascinating encounter to the delight of an impressive attendance but could not break the deadlock during the first interval despite numerous scoring opportunities.

But the introduction of star striker, Alagie Fatty, gave the outstanding Peter Gomez's Men all the much needed 3 points at the expense of a wonderful KWT side led by stars like Pa Modou Faal, Sarra Camara and Pa Nderry. But the stars could not avert a 1-nil defeat.

Speaking to Pointsport shortly after a mouth watering friendly game, Bakary B.Baldeh who played an instrumental part in the game said the main objective of this match is to strengthen the already cordial relationship between the two media institutions.
