At least two senior coaches of the Gambia Lawn Tennis Association, namely Basuruwa Conteh and Lamin Drammeh on Saturday morning left Banjul for Dakar, Senegal to attend a four-day coaching conference for the West and Central Africa which is currently in session in that country.

The high-profile coaching conference is also expected to attract interest from 20 coaches across West and Central Africa. The participants have since 22nd November started the course which is centred on the role of tennis coaches to better prepare them for future national and international tennis competitions.

The trip is the second of its kind for the duo who both believed the course will help them prepare better ahead of future tennis championships.

They also expressed willingness to make the best use of the opportunity accorded to them by the Gambia Lawn Tennis Association, headed by Sheriff Jammeh.

Meanwhile, the duo are expected back home this Friday.
