The Director of Traditional Medicine and Home Care Foundation (TMHCF), Dr Al-Hassan Ibin Abubakarr, has expressed his foundation's commitment to promote and develop traditional herbs and treatment in the country.
Dr Abubakarr made this remark yesterday in an interview with this reporter at his residence in
He said his foundation would continue to support traditional healers and provide quality traditional health delivery services to Gambians and the world at large.
Since they lack needed resources, which undermines their work, Dr Abubakarr appealed to the government, philanthropists and institutions to come to the aid of his foundation to enable them function effectively.
He also applauded President Jammeh for his tremendous contribution towards the development of traditional medicine in the country.
