All the events were organised by the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation Staff Association (SSHFCSA) and proudly sponsored by Gambega.

Speaking to Entertainment last Wednesday, Sheikh Tijan Jobe, president of the SSHFC Staff Association said the association invited the Senegalese artiste to help in the fulfilment of the pledges to cater for the public, especially in the areas of health and agriculture.

Mr. Jobe added that as patriots, they should contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. He explained that some of the revenue that the association will raise from the fundraising activities will be used to sponsor university students, as well as supporting the RVTH and the Back to the Land Call of the President.

Thione Seck will also perform on GRTS Goudi Samdi on 29th April. The Senegalese artiste will feature alongside some prominent top Gambian artistes like Jalex, Pa Omar Jack, Yusupha Ngum and the Chamelion Band.

Tickets to attend the gala dinner will be part of a raffle and the winner will have a plot of land situated at Tujereng.

The Staff Association's president called on all Gambians and non-Gambians resident in the country to come in their large numbers to attend the programmes.
