Taiwanese Leader Felicitates President Jammeh

The President of the Republic of China on Taiwan, His Excellency Ma Ying-jeou, has sent a congratulatory message to the Gambian leader Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J Jammeh on the occasion of The Gambia's 44th Independence Anniversary.

In his message to the Gambian leader, President Ma said, "on behalf of the people and government of the Republic of China on Taiwan and on my own behalf it's my great pleasure and honour to extend to Your Excellency and the people of The Gambia a warmest congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the 44th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of The Gambia. I also take this opportunity to reassure you that we have always treasure the brotherhood that our two nations shared and are determine to see it go from strength to strength for the common good of our people. Please accept, Your Excellency and dear brother, the assurance of my highest consideration as well as my best wishes for your personal wellbeing and continues progress of your great country," he concluded.
