Bakau giant killers Steve Biko and Young Africans have maintained their unbeaten run in the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league, after beating Lamin United and the newly-promoted side Immigration respectively in the week two fixtures.

Steve Biko thrashed Lamin United 3-1 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium, whilst Young Africans beat Immigration at Banjul’s KG5 Mini Stadium.

KGI came from behind to draw 1-1 with Serrekunda East Bi at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Steve Biko and Young Africans have the maximum 6 points each in two games, after winning their two opening fixtures. KGI are with a single point in two games, while Immigration are struggling without a point in two games.

Steve Biko and Young Africans are hoping to win their remaining games to improve their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.

KGI and Immigration would also be expecting to win their remaining games, to move away from the red zone in order to avoid relegation to the third tier.
