Show: Kinkiliba in fundraising concert

Friday, July 02, 2010

The Kinkiliba Family of Paradise FM radio station is planning to organize a ground-breaking fundraising concert featuring topflight Gambian musicians such as Egalitarian, Manding Mori, Badibunkas, T-Small and many more artists. The event is slated for this Saturday at Tam Tam Night Club, starting from 9 pm onwards.

In an interview with Entertainment recently, held at the Paradise FM station, Bubacarr Baldeh, the PRO of Kinkiliba Family, noted that the event is geared towards drumming up financial support for the Family. He said Kinkiliba Family came into existence due to radio talk shows to entertain and educate, which come on air at the radio from 7 am to 8:30 am every day.

According to Mr. Baldeh, the whole motive behind organizing this fundraising show is to raise funds for the Family in order to achieve its aims and objectives.

This include providing relief assistance to disaster victims, and the needy like orphans.

During the concert, there will be comedy and drama by the drama group of the Kinkiliba Family.

"I would like to thank all staff of Paradise FM and Mediamatic for all the support they give us," he added.
