Serrekunda West 3rd division qualifiers round-up

Unity Promotion Football Academy FC have maintained their unbeaten run in the ongoing Serrekunda West Sports Organiation (SWESO) third division qualifiers after a 1-1 draw against Athletico Manjai FC in a group A encounter played at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium recently.

Unity Promotion’s only goal of the game was scored through Bekai Jatta in the 11th minute of the game before Salifu Saho levelled the score for Athletico Manjai as both sides shared the spoils.

Elsewhere, Ebo Town FC beat Roots FC 1-0 in a well-contested game in group C played at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

Ebo Town opened the score through Gibriel Sanyang in the 21st minute of the game, which eventually proved to be the winner for Ebo Town.

Kotu United FC defeated Kanifing East FC 2-1 in a group A game courtesy of Lamin Sanyang’s brace in the 28th and 45th minutes of the game, while Jabin Touray’s 15th minute opener only proved to be a consolation goal for Kanifing East FC.
