Senegal reopens border with Guinea

Senegal’s Minister of Interior Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo announced on Monday that, with effect from Tuesday 27 January, the border between Senegal and Guinea Conakry, which was closed last August because of the Ebola virus, will be reopened.

The epidemic has killed more than 9000 people in the region.
