One Lamin M. Comma was the lucky winner of the My Dream Account competition. The winner had won himself a trip to Disneyland with one of his parents and a pocket money of $2000.

Among other prizes won was D5000 by four children namely Hadijatou, Musu Kuta Badgie, Sally Badgie and Omar A Gibril all of whom will have their existing accounts swell up with extra D5000 (five thousand dalasi) from their bank as the bank's contribution to child education.

Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Humphrey Mukwereza, revealed that the reason for the event is to create a long-standing customer relationship with these young savers. He stressed that my dream account will recognise the future of the child life and witness development in their life as in their dream by saving with the bank.

The bank CEO noted that this initiative is in response to the young savers need in primary, secondary and tertiary education and for giving continued support to the children's dream to have a better future.

The head of consumer banking, Musa Jallow, posited that the bank has an array of surprises for their customers. He said all the children banking with Standard Chartered Bank are winners since they are banking with what he referred to as the winning bank.
