Gambia international Amadou Sanyang's Toronto FC hope to get things turned around for them for the better after a further disappointing season in the United States Major League Soccer.

The MLS and Canadian side may have found their answer in the form of former Germany's national manager Jurgen Klinsmann.

According to The Globe and Mail, an announcement could be made this week to introduce Klinsmann as a consultant with Toronto FC.

The report says that the German will be given full control over rebuilding the club and making Gambian defender Amadou Sanyang, who has been nursing an injury, and teammates contenders in the MLS.

Klinsmann, according to goal.com, has consulted for the LA Galaxy in the past and has been in contention to coach the US national team on a couple of occasions. He has also been highly significant in the American system of developing talent.

Turning their situation around will be an interesting development for Toronto that needs something to help them take a few steps forward.

MLS Playoffs

Los Angeles Galaxy goal from Edson Buddle and a cynically impressive defensive performance gave them a 1-0 win over Sanna Nyassi’s Seattle Sounders FC.

Sunday’s game was a failure for the Sounders in the MLS playoff first round first leg home game.

The Galaxy will now take the one goal lead back to California for the second leg.
