Red-Scorpions eased- pass bottom place Makasutu during the weekend Female Division One league championship.

A sensational 10th minute goal from Red Scorpions' star, Isatou Njie was enough for the Female Division One giants to snatch all the much-needed points at the expense of a weak Makasutu side, who has failed to secure a single win in 7 league matches. This left them rooted at the bottom of 6 club championship on zero-points.

The win for Red Scorpions have seen them climbed higher to  the second position  spot on 15 points in 7 games three adrift of the leaders, Interior who collected 18 points in 7 league matches.

The Female Second Division league championship has also witnessed a thrilling encounter when Future Bi held second place Jamcity to a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Seaview football field on Saturday.

Meanwhile Interior's game against the fourth place Abuko United, which was scheduled to take place at the Seaview football field on Saturday has been postpone, due to the absence of 10 Interior players who are currently on international duties with the national female team.
