Quality service delivery

Oct 26, 2011, 2:52 PM

The quality of service offered in our hotels and other places visited by tourists should not be compromised at all.

We are pleased that the issue was highlighted by the Minister of Tourism in her ongoing tour of tourism facilities, ahead of the 2011 winter tourist season.

Tourists like any other visitors would like to have value for money by having quality service during their holiday in the country, and at the hotels where they stay.

The essence of quality service is to meet the customer’s expectations. Therefore, providing quality service should at all times not be compromised.

Ahead of the winter season, we urge our hoteliers to keep working on diversifying their products and services.

The more tourists, especially new comers, feel satisfied with our services the more they would be encouraged to be visiting the country again and again.

In these days of global economic crisis and market competiveness we must do more to attract more tourists.

Considering the contribution of the industry to our economy, all hands must be on deck to attract more tourists to the Smiling Coast of Africa.

With more and more magnificent new hotels being built in The Gambia this year, we anticipate that more tourists would capitalize on these attractions to come to the Smiling Coast.
