Ousman Jallow's Brondby lose in league opener

Ousman Jallow and Paul Jatta's Brondby IF opened their Danish SAS-Ligaen campaign with a 3-2 defeat to Randers on Sunday. Brondby, who had a perfect start in the UEFA Europa League after beating Vaduz 3-0, courtesy of Gambian international forward Ousman Jallow's brace and Nilsson to gather home the maximum points needed in the first leg last Thursday, at the Brondby Stadium.

Brondby will be going in defense of their return leg of the UEFA on Thursday in Vaduz before taking on AaB in second Superliga fixture on Sunday.

Demba Savage's FC Honka drew 2-2 with Mypa to still secure second spot at 24 points and 6 behind leaders HJK Helsinki on the Finnish Veikkausliga.

In the Swedish Allsvenskan which kick-started last weekend, The Gambia's number one international goalie Pa Dembo Touray and Kebba Ceesay's Djurgardens IF lost 2-0 to Kalmar. 

Amadou Jallow's Elfsborg shared the spoil with Orebro after both sides laid a 3-3 draw. Elfsborg, who also took part in the UEFA Europa League, beat Iskra-Stal 2-1 last Thursday. They are set to play the return leg away to Iskra-Stal on Thursday.

Alagie Sosseh's Landskrona BoIS beat Vasby United 2-1 on Sundayin the Superettan Lower League in Sweden on Sunday.

In the Swiss Axpo Super League Sunday opener, the Grasshoppers held Abdourahman Dampha's Neuchatel Xamax in a 1-1 draw.

Versatile Gambian international Pa Modou Jagne's St Gallen succumbed to Lucerne 4-0.

Abdou Darboe's Honefoss lost 4-0 to Viking Stavanger to sink on 14 position and 13 points in the Norwegian Tippeligaen in Sunday matches.

Mohammed Keita was booked close to stoppage time in Stromsgodset 2-1 over Haugesund to finish on 6th position and 26 points.
